Law. Strategy. Result.
Andrey Bityutskiy
Attorney-at-law
The earlier a lawyer joins the case, the more
procedural options remain. Criminal defence,
commercial litigation, disputes with regulators.

Practice
Resolving
complex matters
A single conflict often runs through several areas at once: a dispute with a counterparty turns into an inspection, and the inspection into a criminal case.
-
Criminal defence
- Pre-investigation checks and inquiries.
- Defence during investigation and at trial.
- Appeals to higher courts.
-
Civil and commercial cases
- Corporate and contract disputes.
- Representation in courts at every level.
- Enforcement of court decisions.
-
Disputes with regulators
- Inspections and compliance orders.
- Administrative liability.
- Challenging the actions of officials.
-
Reputation and cross-border matters
- Threats to reputation and finances.
- Work with expert institutions and the media.
- Foreign requests and claims.

What matters
in law is not
knowing every
answer, but
finding the right
solution

FAQ
Questions
and answers
A short guide to how work
with a lawyer begins.
If your question is not here, call me.
When should I contact a lawyer?
As early as possible: before speaking to an investigator or inspectors, before signing documents and before replying to a claim. At an early stage the defence has more lawful options.
Can I bring a lawyer to questioning?
Yes. When a crime report is being checked, participants are informed of their rights, including the right to a lawyer’s assistance and the right not to testify against themselves (Article 144(1.1) of the Russian Code of Criminal Procedure, Article 51 of the Russian Constitution).
How does the first consultation work?
We discuss the situation, I review the documents and explain the options and the risks. We can meet at the office on Belinskogo Street or talk by phone.
Is everything kept confidential?
Yes. Everything you tell a lawyer is protected by legal professional privilege: the law prohibits its disclosure and prohibits questioning the lawyer about it.
How much does a lawyer’s work cost?
The fee depends on the complexity of the case and the scope of work. The terms are set out in a written agreement before work begins.
Do you work outside St Petersburg?
Terms are discussed individually: part of the work can be done remotely, and involvement in cases in other regions is agreed in advance.
