How Andrey Bityutskiy, attorney-at-law, processes information about visitors to bityutskiy.ru and about people who contact him by phone or email.

General provisions

This policy applies to the website bityutskiy.ru and has been drawn up in accordance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 “On Personal Data”. The personal data operator is Andrey Albertovich Bityutskiy, attorney-at-law, St Petersburg branch of the Plesovskikh and Partners Bar Association (the “operator”).

By using the website, you confirm that you have read this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the website or disable cookies in your browser.

What data is processed

When you visit the website – information that your browser sends automatically and that is collected by the Yandex Metrica service:

  • cookies and your IP address;
  • device type, browser, operating system and screen size;
  • the date and time of the visit, the pages viewed, links followed and the source from which you came to the website.

When you contact the lawyer yourself by phone or email – your name, phone number, email address and the information you provide in your enquiry.

The website has no data entry forms. Session recording (Webvisor) is not used.

Purposes and legal grounds

  • Visit statistics and improving the website – on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(1) of Law No. 152-FZ). The operator receives information from Yandex Metrica as aggregated reports and does not use it to identify visitors.
  • Responding to your enquiry, preparing for a consultation and entering into a legal services agreement – on the basis of your consent and to take steps at your request before an agreement is concluded (Article 6(1)(1) and (5) of Law No. 152-FZ).

Cookies and Yandex Metrica

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. This website uses them for the Yandex Metrica service provided by YANDEX LLC. Information about visits is processed by Yandex on the terms published on its website.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and switch off data collection by Yandex Metrica using its opt-out tool. The website will continue to work.

Legal professional privilege

Information you share with a lawyer in connection with legal assistance is protected by legal professional privilege under the law (Article 8 of Federal Law No. 63-FZ of 31 May 2002 “On Advocacy and the Bar in the Russian Federation”).

Disclosure, storage and protection

The operator does not sell or disclose personal data to third parties, except to YANDEX LLC as part of the Yandex Metrica service and in cases expressly provided for by law.

Data is kept no longer than the purposes of processing require, unless a longer period is set by law. The operator takes legal, organisational and technical measures to protect data from unauthorised access, alteration and disclosure; the website uses the secure HTTPS protocol.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • find out which of your data is processed and how;
  • require the data to be corrected, blocked or destroyed if it is incomplete, out of date or processed unlawfully;
  • withdraw your consent to processing;
  • challenge the operator’s actions before Roskomnadzor (the Russian data protection authority) or in court.
