On the three most common types of court disputes over the employment of foreign workers:
“The first is actually allowing a foreign national to work without a patent or permit, or in breach of their terms. The second is breaching the procedure for notifying the Ministry of Internal Affairs that an employment or civil-law contract has been concluded or terminated. The third is disputes over who bears liability: the client, the contractor or the person who actually organised the work.”
